Hello

My name is Taryn Swaim and I am the founder of Juniper Candle Co. (along with my German Shorthaired Pointer, Juniper, of course). This is a small business that just sells one product; handmade candles. All candles are made by me in West Des Moines, Iowa.

My Story

I am a triplet (with 2 brothers) who was born in Colorado, and mainly raised in Iowa. I grew up with German Shorthaired Pointers my whole life and love the breed. I have always had a passion for fragrances, as I have been collecting Bath & Body Works since the age of six. I also have always had a passion for design and crafts. I am at a point where I work full-time at a Law Firm, and want to have something on the side that allows me to turn my passions into a personal business. That is how Juniper Candle Co. got created. Now I get to do my hobby with my German Shorthaired Pointer in my free time and share it with others. Check out my candles today!
